Expands Access to Home-Based Phototherapy
We’re excited to share that NatBio has secured a significant network contract with Indiana University Health (IUH), the largest healthcare system in Indiana. This new partnership allows IUH members and employees to use their private insurance plans to access NatBio’s FDA Class-II home phototherapy devices for conditions like psoriasis, vitiligo, and eczema.
Darren Tuel, President of NatBio, emphasized the importance of making these treatments accessible: “Having great products means nothing if patients cannot benefit from them.” This contract not only helps reduce out-of-pocket expenses for patients but also supports our mission to enhance health and wellness for all.
The agreement is the result of over a year of negotiations led by Stephanie Spisak, NatBio’s Business Development Manager. By demonstrating the value, safety, and cost-effectiveness of phototherapy compared to pharmaceutical treatments, NatBio secured a win-win solution for IUH—a healthcare provider striving to balance patient care quality with affordability.
